PIL before Delhi High Court regarding unauthorized accessing Aadhaar data of citizens

Share

31st December 2020, the last day of the year was quite eventful.

Abhijit Mishra, Advocate Payal Bahl and I mutually decided to file a Writ Petition before Hon’ble High Court of Delhi. The filling was done at around 11 o Clock, we were expecting that the matter would be taken up in the first week of January 2021 (Possibly making it the First writ petition for 2021). To all of ours utter surprise, the matter was expeditiously taken up at 3’ o clock the same day. After hearing the matter was again listed on 14th January 2021.

We were preparing for the matter to be listed on 14th, 1st day of 2021 was quite uneventful, till 11 O clock at night when we discovered that our actions have been covered in almost all major news houses and it was there online for more than 24 hours! It was my first coverage of mine in a major news house, I couldn’t think of a better way to start this Year.
